In her spare time, she is a keen sport-enthusiast with netball being her main sport and currently competes in the national Premier League 3 with her team Kent Club. Previous accomplishments include representing Scotland in the European Championships and she has most recently signed up to complete the Brighton marathon 2015!

Amber has a passion for traveling, having sailed across the Atlantic twice and living in Cambodia while completing her degree in Development Geography. Her love of a challenge extends to anything from the trickiest head hunt to a hair-raising abseil down Battersea Power station to raise money for Cancer Research UK. She is known in the office for spouting random facts on anything from deserted islands to ancient laws, she is hopeful that at some point she will find a purpose for this completely useless information!

Andy joined Oasis HR as a Researcher in 2013 after graduating from Loughborough University in 2012. Before joining Oasis HR, Andy travelled from South America to New Zealand in a desperate attempt to ‘get it out of his system’ before starting work. Andy has progressed quickly up to Consultant here at Oasis and is focussing on HRBP and Senior Resourcing roles across all sectors. Outside of work Andy enjoys watching live music, playing sport and generally taking on pretty mad physical challenges, breaking a Guinness world record for the longest ever game of rugby union, and most recently cycling 500 miles across Europe, collectively raising over £10,000 for charity.

Having graduated from the University of Leeds with 2.1 degree in Physiology and Sports Science, Andy spent his early career in the Health and Fitness industry before joining Oasis HR in 2008. Since then Andy has progressed through the ranks from a Researcher to Director, with current responsibility for managing all permanent recruitment and leading a team of Consultants and Researchers. Andy has an extensive network across the HR space with particular exposure spanning a number of sectors including Online / Digital / eCommerce, Technology, Media, Retail and Engineering (particularly Oil and Gas and Defence). Andy has always been a fanatical sportsman, having played Football and Golf at County level (and still playing to a reasonably high standard despite a dodgy knee!) and his natural competitiveness is manifested in a real drive to ensure he and his team can offer the best possible service to candidates and clients alike. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active by competing at a national level with her ultimate Frisbee team and tries to get out to the Alps skiing at least once a year.

In her spare time, she is a keen fitness-enthusiast (most of the time…!), and completed the Mens Health ‘Survival of the Fittest’ challenge in 2012. She is competing again this year, and has recently started the Insanity workout (a craze that is slowly sweeping the office). Hannah is also about to trek the Inca Trail in Peru as part of a short tour of South America.

Most recently Rachel has taken time out to focus on Health and Wellness for personal development and to help others. Advice on the benefits of good nutrition and regular exercise as well as practical methods to cope with stress. Ron Thomas is The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Great Place to Work based in Dubai. He is a member of the senior faculty of the Human Capital Institute. He is certified by the institute as a Master Human Capital Strategist (MHCS) and Strategic Workforce Planner (SWP) and Global Human Capital Strategist (GHCS). He has held senior level roles at IBM, Martha Stewart Living and Buck Consultants (A Xerox Company Board memberships include: Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, McKinsey Quarterly Executive Online Panel and the Human Capital Institute Expert Advisory Council on Talent Management Strategy. He received the "Outstanding Leadership Award for Global HR Excellence at the World Human Resources Development Congress and the "50 Most Talented Global HR Leaders in Asia in Mumbai February 2014

Sam joined Oasis HR as Financial Controller in July 2013. With an educational background including a degree in Accounting from Cardiff University followed by gaining the CIMA qualification, Sam is now fully responsible for the finance function in his new role. Building on many years experience of working within the recruitment sector he covers all aspects of finance, from accounts payable and receivable, to cash flow forecasting and long term financial planning. Sam is also a very keen sports fan and regularly enjoys playing and watching most sports, in particular cricket, football and golf.

Simon has an extensive track record as a finance director in rapidly growing entrepreneurial businesses, notably Tribal Group Plc which he helped grow over ten years from a start-up in 2000 to a £250m+ services business. At Tribal he recruited and led bids for major government contracts, M&A, procurement, property and IT projects; he led its AIM float in 2001; a £21m capital fund raising; admission to Main LSE listing in 2002; a £45m takeover of a listed group in 2003; he co-negotiated the sale of a start-up Health business realising profit of £27m in 2007. He played a major role in executing over 45 acquisitions and six start-up businesses with incentivised management equity share structures. He negotiated and led over 11 debt finance rounds with banks with the largest facility being £180m. He was also a Founder Trustee of Tribal Group Foundation, funding health / education projects in Africa and India/Nepal. The Foundation secured over £750k in four year period. Simon left Tribal in May 2010 and became CFO of Cabo Delgado Investments Limited where he worked on a business turnaround and M&A project in Mozambique, Africa. He left in March 2012 and is currently CFO board advisor to 5 SMEs (SME’s and start-ups) and holds 4 Non-Executive director posts. Simon helped launch a new start-up support service business in March 2013, Benula Capital Limited, with our other non-executive director, Miles Hunt who he has known for 14 years. Simon has been working with Mark and Jeremy since March 2013. Simon has been operating at FD level since 1994. He started his accounting training at KPMG after leaving Reading University in 1982 with a BA Hons. in Accounting and Economics. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and became a Fellow in 1996. Simon lives in Gloucestershire with his wife and two children. He enjoys sport, hill walking, travel, history, economics, wine and family life.
