The HR Think Tank Series (HRTTS) is an exclusive peer-to-peer HR community that empowers its members to deliver beyond their potential. Directed at senior level strategic HR professionals, the community provides members with the opportunity to: stimulate and validate ideas, improve their effectiveness, and stay informed of best and next practice. Unlike many HR networking communities, ours is split into six key disciplines to ensure that all activity is of the upmost relevance to its members. Our platform covers Resourcing, Talent Management, Reward and Mobility, HR Business Partnering, Diversity and Employee Relations.
Since it’s inception in 2009, the platform has grown to over 5,000 members across a range of industry sectors and HR silos. One of the main vehicles we use for adding value to our members is running approximately 40 free, face-to-face Think Tanks over the course of the year. Each Think Tank discussion, restricted to between 15-20 participants, is centred around a particular topic of pertinence to the HR community (a subject nominated by the members) keeping them current, popular and well attended!
Attending one of our roundtable discussions is just the starting point and merely acts as the catalyst for helping you and your company achieve more. Through our exclusive network of HRTTS partners, and our incredibly generous and knowledgeable members, the community provides a trusted platform for making new connections and keeping abreast of what’s happening in the market.
However if you are still wondering what exactly you can gain by being a part of our HR community and attending one of our Think Tanks, have a read of some of our members’ testimonials:
Ian Morrison, Resourcing at Retroscreen.
‘I have recently attended one in a series of Think Tanks. The recent one on RPOs was most useful in sharing ideas, experiences and solutions. Heading up the Recruitment function can be quite lonely as you are seen as the Subject Matter Expert, the Think Tanks are really helpful in realising that there are others out there confronted with the same issues, or who have already been through it and have worked through pragmatic solutions. Well worth attending.’
Chris TennantTalent Acquisition Manager & Executive Recruiter at Dell
‘I have been to a couple of the Think Tank events now. Both have been great for thought leadership and knowledge sharing. I would recommend coming along to the events as they can really benefit in your own organisation’s recruitment best practices.’
Jennifer Pierce, Head of Strategic Resourcing at Legal & General
‘Attended my first Resourcing Think Tank a couple of weeks ago and found it time well spent. Appreciated both the content discussion and the opportunity to network with other senior ‘recruitment types’ Look forward to attending others in the future.’
James Caspell, Business Innovation Manager at Tower Hamlets Homes
‘The Diversity Think Tank provides a rare opportunity for exchanging ideas and best practice between the public, private and not-for-profit sector.’
Anthony Lasocki, Head of Talent Acquisition for EMEA at Verizon
‘I attended my first RTT event in May and found it both productive and relevant. It was reassuring to discuss some familiar challenges in a group of like minded resourcing professionals and insightful to hear how others tackle these issues. Look forward to attending in the future.’
Andrea Kirby, Recruitment Transformation Lead at Tate & Lyle
‘I have been to a few of the RTT events now and have found them incredibly useful. The real value is that you are interacting with senior recruitment professionals from all types of industries so you get to hear new ideas that may be moved across to your role. I would highly recommend people get involved.’
Nick Turner,EMEA Talent Manager at Polycom
‘I have now been to quite a few of the Resourcing Think Tank series and am looking forward to hosting one in the new year. I find them invaluable, it is refreshing to hear thoughts and practices of like-minded professionals, and quite frankly relieving as well to know that we all face similar challenges! They are well-run thought-provoking sessions and I intend to get to as many as possible.’
