Oasis HR Leadership Think Tank Ethnicity Pay Gap Reporting Legal and General
Register to attend

A must-attend Think Tank for any HR Leader that has ethnicity pay reporting on their agenda and wants to discuss preparatory work with their peers in a safe, round-table environment.

Hosted by Colette Comerford, Head of Inclusion and Culture at Legal and General Investment Management.

Addressing workplace equality can significantly benefit an organisation’s culture and reputation. It ensures talent is supported and helps businesses achieve their organisational objectives. And whilst diversity headlines have largely been dominated by the Gender Pay Gap over the last couple of years, we’re now moving into the age of ethnicity pay reporting.

The consultation period for this compulsory reporting initiative closed in January 2019, and we are now waiting to hear the outcome from the Government. For instance, what ethnicity information should be reported by employers to allow meaningful action; who should be expected to report; and what are the required next steps?

We can probably all agree that transparency in data and reporting helps accelerate the progress of a business. However, according to PwC, 95% of businesses have not conducted any analysis into their ethnicity pay gap and 75% do not have sufficient data to conduct said analysis. This will undoubtedly leave many organisations in quite a predicament for when the details and timelines of the ethnicity reporting initiative are confirmed.

Join us at this HR Leadership Think Tank, hosted by Legal and General and Investment Management, to discuss this pending reporting legislation and address the following:

  • Getting the necessary preparations in place to report on the Ethnicity Pay Gap
  • Understanding the legalities of what data can and can not be collected
  • Implementing a communications plan that promotes the benefits of what you’re trying to achieve and doesn’t alienate segments of your workforce
  • Adapting your HR system to cater to ethnicity pay reporting
