EMEA HR Operations Associate – £28k – 12 month FTC

A global media player is on the look-out for an EMEA HR Operations Associate to join their team on a 12 month FTC. The culture is collaborative and flexible and the offices are centrally located, near Blackfriars.
The position will be responsible for the smooth execution of HR processes according to the EMEA procedures and standards. This role challenges the way things are done and looks to identify ways to work more efficiently. The Team’s aim is to standardise, simplify & automate process by identifying innovative ways of managing the HR Operations function. The individual will work closely with EMEA HRBP’s and CoE Heads as well as EMEA HR Operations Team Leader and Group Head of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Process Execution:

  • Execution of HR processes & transaction in the employee Hire to Retire cycle according to defined standards.

  • Keeping all documents (e.g. process maps & documents) necessary for the execution of HR processes updated.

  • Ensure data integrity and adhere to key deadlines.

  • Support information flow with all departments and functions, being involved in HR process execution.

  • Use HR tools and systems to appropriately document and complete assigned work.

  • Work with both internal and external contacts to assist in process completion or escalation, such as Legal, IT, and vendors.

  • Seek feedback from customers to identify opportunities for improvement.

Build strong partner relationship:

  • Build relationships with CoEs, HRBPs, and other departments to facilitate the support needed. Become a “partner” and display the benefit of a combined working relationship.

  • Work with vendors and build relationship with them to ensure we have identified the most efficient and effective process with that vendor.

  • Work with IT & relevant stakeholders to ensure that requirements are met.

  • Utilize country specific knowledge and the knowledge of the HR processes and tools to guide HR colleagues, employees and managers in applying them accordingly

Drive for Improvement & Innovation:

  • Support a culture of continuous improvement. Validate HR processes and transactions in order to identify ways to simplify, standardize, optimize and automate.

  • Understand scope of process work and the defined standards for each service. Ensures all process maps are current, accurate and complete. Track KPIs for regular reporting.

  • Take a leading role in producing high quality solutions and support the generation of new ideas and breakthrough initiatives

Successful candidates will need:

  • Strong customer service focus

  • Confident and strong communicator (written and verbal)

  • Solutions-oriented and continuously striving to find new and better ways to do things

  • Strong interpersonal skills – flexible, collaborative, positive attitude and highly motivated

  • Experience generating reports, analyzing and interpreting data

  • Strong computer proficiency, with a firm grasp on MS Office tools and sufficient tech savvy to identify potential tech solutions and/ or quickly learn and master new software programs/ applications
