If you’re an HR Business Partner Or ER Business partner with strong ER background looking for a role within a company that has a great track record in innovation and achievement then this could be the next role for you. You will be responsible for supporting the business by providing expert professional advice and coaching on the management of employee relations matters and the interpretation of HR policies and procedures.

Key areas of responsibility:
Employee Relations
> You will be responsible for tracking, monitoring and analysing the causes of ER cases and will need to identify and deliver interventions to reduce their re-occurrence.
> To support, co-create and deliver an ongoing programme of People Management training to line managers in order to improve the management of people issues within the business
> To support the creation and delivery of local engagement action plans which link into insights generated from Peakon survey.
> To support the creation and delivery of training to the Line Leaders on employment law and best practice, in line with the companies policies and procedures.
> To be the first point of contact for trade union representatives with individual queries
> Provide timely and responsive coaching, advice and support for complex and volume disciplinary, grievance, performance, flexible working and absence matters and escalate issues as appropriate.

Employee Wellbeing:
> Review trends relating to absence management and propose solutions based on data interpretation to proactively reduce absence levels.
> Support and implement wellbeing initiatives for the client group

General:
> Manager HR Projects alongside day to day delivery
> To take the lead with designated functions as well as attending regular meetings and take accountability for updating colleagues on developments and other important changes which have a People impact.

Employee Relations Business Advisor

Essential experience in:
> Experience in advising on complex/volume Employee Relations activity such as disciplinary and grievance management and have an excellent working knowledge of UK employment law
> Previous experience in working within a union environment is preferred
> Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
> Experience of working within a fast pace, multi-site HR organisation.
> Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate resilience

This role would be well suited to someone from Retail / Hospitality with multi-site experience. They have a great benefits package and a lovely culture with scope to progress within the company.
