Global Recruitment Specialist – £60k – £65k – Holborn
A business specialising in data and business information for their niche selection of clients are looking for a recruitment and talent expert to join their global team of 12 in HR on a permanent basis. The business is 900 strong globally with 400 in London.
You will partner with the Global HR Director, but you must be able to work autonomously and be a completer-finisher type individual. The role will be a very exciting mix of setting up processes and setting the recruitment agenda for the next 12 – 24 months with a focus on projects such as succession planning and a new recruitment website.
The business is likely to hire c60-65 new starters over the next 12 months so your role will also include operational work. The HR Business Partners manage the recruitment for certain business areas where the business attracts strong applicants directly.
For this role, you will need previous in-house recruitment experience and ideally will have been involved in the set up of a recruitment function or have experience in the development of recruitment processes. Experience of testing and assessments would be useful as this is something the business are looking to revise and refresh their suppliers and offering. Additionally, strong experience in data analysis and reporting would be beneficial.
While the focus of the role will be London, the role will have an international flavour. There is growth planned in Europe and you will also likely get involved in some recruitment in The US and Asia-Pac.
The types of roles you are likely to be recruiting will include technology, corporate functions, senior management and sales and marketing and the vast majority of hires are made on a permanent basis.
Candidates who are proactive, dynamic and enjoy advising and educating managers on best practice would do well in this role. It will be about balancing the strategic side and the day to day operations. The majority of the hiring managers are pretty clued up when it comes to recruitment and do a lot of their interviewing but they do need the support from a recruitment expert.
The team has a coordinator who spends much of her time on recruitment administration and coordination, while they are not exclusively assigned to recruitment, they are a great resource.
Experience in technology or financial services would be helpful. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and experience of working in a business going through change would be advantageous.
