Interim HR Specialist

Interim HR Specialist – 12 month contract – £275 a day – Middlesex

Looking for an experienced HR Generalist who will primarily support the HRBP’s working across three UK sites.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provides advice and guidance to managers and employees on routine HR issues, seeking guidance from senior HR Business Partners where necessary.
  • Management of non-complex employee relations cases, investigations, disciplinary, terminations, PIPs and flexible work applications supporting managers during the process and ensuring legal compliance. Seeks legal/ ER advice as required internally and externally.
  • Supports delivery of a range of training solutions for employees and managers.
  • Collects, researches, and analyses HR data, presenting it effectively to identify key messages in a clear and concise manner to support decision making and providing recommendations where appropriate .
  • Taking accountability for assigned projects in support of local People Plans.
  • Prepares routine presentations on a variety of HR subjects.
  • Serves as a contact for the coordination of a variety of HR projects and any ad-hoc inquiries that have relevance for all UK sites.

The key skills / experience required:

  • Experience as an HRBP for a minimum of 2 years required
  • Willingness to roll sleeves up and support when needed on variety of ad-hoc activities
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law
  • Ability to analyse and present data effectively
  • Good attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment and with ambiguity
  • Willingness to travel to UK sites when needed​
  • Require excellent MS Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Workday experience a strong plus
