Interim Organisational Development Manager – London – £550- £700 p.d

Our client is a well know gaming/entertainment business and a market leader within their space who are going through a significant journey of growth and change. They are seeking a highly capable and articulate Interim Organisational Design & Development Manager to join their team based in London.

Reporting to the Director of Learning and Organisational Development, you will work in partnership with broader HR team and L&OD team to design and deliver organisational development and performance management strategies in support of the business priorities. The OD Manager will provide information, advice and services as required to enable the overall Learning Strategy and deliver programmes of continuous organisational performance improvement and effectiveness which help achieve the business goals.

This is an initial 3 month contract with the desire to extend beyond that.

Core responsibilities

  • Support the design and delivery OD and change management strategies and initiatives to support goals and priorities working together with HRBP’s and HRSP to establish a culture and process for Performance Management.
  • Work to develop and roll out talent management and succession planning and coordinate contributions of key stake holders to ensure effective implementation
  • Contribute research analysis and ideas to the development of the HR strategy to ensure that organisational development initiatives are appropriately integrated and aligned with strategic and business goals.
  • Develops and implements manager and staff development programs that support the organization’s succession plan
  • Identifies and use instruments and surveys to analyse individual and group behaviour and recommends strategies for making needed changes.
  • Influences and supports changes in organisational behaviour.
  • Work with HR Communications Team to ensure effective communication and consultation processes and to build staff engagement
  • Work with broader L&OD team to develop coaching, mentoring and secondment schemes to deliver staff development and achievement of personal development plans and creation of systems that best support PM and TM programs
  • Supports the work of external consultants brought in to do various projects by various groups in the (divisions) by providing them with information about the organisation, helping with implementation of their projects, and ensuring that follow-up assessments of effectiveness are conducted.

Relevant Skills and Experiences

You’re an experienced Manager with experience across the field of Learning and Development and general HR.
Other skills include:

  • Experience of, and commitment to, continuous organisational improvement and the ability to act as a change agent.
  • Personal organisation skills, able to understand complex problems and create innovative ways to drive learning solutions.
  • Builds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to support the efficient and effective delivery of HR projects and solutions.
  • Passionate about learning and helping people learn and develop in a variety of formats and through various platforms.
  • Able to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels of the business.
