Learning and Development Specialist – Emerging Talent

Learning & Development: Emerging Talent 6 month FTC
Milton Keynes / London

Our client is a rapidly growing technology and communications organisation. They are looking for an experienced L&D professional to lead the development of a cohesive early careers strategy across the business. The role will be to define the strategic goals for apprenticeships, graduates, interns and work experience programmes, articulating how talent will move into and through their organisation with a particular focus on diversity.

Learning & Development: Emerging Talent 6 month FTC
Milton Keynes / London

The role:

  • Work with business stakeholders to agree with requirements and future opportunities across all emerging talent programmes.
  • Build relationships with key education establishments including schools, colleges, universities, apprenticeship training providers.
  • Establish how the company can maximise their use of the apprenticeship levy funding.
  • Design and deliver the on-boarding process for all new hires to include induction activities, content and planning for future e-modules as required
  • Induction and onboarding Design and roll out new bespoke induction and onboarding process for all new starters incorporating all levels of the business including emerging talent, management and specialist staff.
  • Create content for induction and onboarding programme in line with the needs of the business.
  • Plan e-modules to support the induction and onboarding process

Experience needed to apply:

  • You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability and have experience of designing and delivering Apprenticeship programmes and management of Apprenticeship levy portal
  • Have experience of working with key external stakeholders in a faced paced environment
  • Previous experience of creating induction and onboarding processes
  • Skilled in the delivery of face to face training and presentations
  • Experience of using Learning Management Systems and MS Office.

Learning & Development: Emerging Talent 6 month FTC

This is initially a 6-month contract as it is a newly created role to work alongside the new L&D Manager and support the company in its rapid growth. There is room for the contract to a role for a longer period of time. Ideally, you will have a CIPD qualification and have experience of content design and e-modules as well as a background of mentoring and coaching.
