Learning & Development Consultant – South East / Midlands £65k

As the Learning & Development (L&D) Consultant you will be responsible for the programme management of Learning & Development projects and solutions across differing parts of our varied and innovative business.

You will be responsible for ensuring that each project has measurable business benefits and meets the needs of our customers by thoroughly understanding the business context, analysing the learning need and developing the strategy and plan for delivery.

In this global and highly visible role you will be engaging with senior stakeholders and be responsible for delivering their requirements through the scoping, developing and managing implementation of complex and large scale learning and development programmes.

This role requires effective management and deployment of L&D programmes to time, cost and quality standards within a large matrix organisation. You will use your existing L&D experience, knowledge and insight to shape the solutions to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of our business.

To understand the regulatory and conduct requirements of the business and integrate this into solutions while managing the expectations of senior stakeholders is key to success in this position.

You will ideally be based in the Midlands or South/ South East with travel to our regional sites as required.

Having gravitas and developing credibility are essential to this role as you seek to form L+D strategy across our business.

Experience of the design, development and implementation of large and complex L&D programmes is vital to success in this position.

Although this role will not require you to “be in the room” delivering a programme, experience of this is key as you will manage a portfolio of L&D projects.

You will have a proven track record of translating vision, innovative strategies and business requirements into clear, actionable goals and of course, delivering excellent results.

You will have experience in managing matrix teams, engaging and motivating them to deliver L&D solutions into the business

You will be pro-active, have the ability to manage and lead continuous change and create opportunities to improve ways of working
