Oasis HR has been honoured with our 3rd consecutive win at the Recruitment Business Awards, which took place on Thursday 25th September 2014 at the Manchester Mercure Piccadilly Hotel. The prestigious, annual awards pride themselves on recognising and rewarding the elite of the UK Recruitment Industry. Oasis HR managed to ‘pip competition to the post’ with our candidate attraction video and claim top spot in the ‘Best Item of Self-Promotion’ category; having also won this same award in 2012.
The video animation, which takes centre stage on the Oasis HR website homepage, is aimed at demonstrating our quirky identity and style, as well as showcasing our areas of specialisation and extensive offering for potential candidates. The full concept and storyboard for the video was produced internally by Oasis HR’s marketing team and outsourced to an animator for production. The video can be seen here.
This is Oasis HR’s 7th award win since moving into HR recruitment in 2008; following steady growth since our recruitment consultancy’s inception in 2004. We now operate from Central London and have seen employee numbers almost double in the last year alone. We specialises in placing mid-to-senior HR professionals and are recognised as one of the leaders in this space; with our growing number of awards confirming this status. Other award wins have included ‘Recruitment Company of the Year’ at the Recruitment Business Awards last year, ‘Best Specialist Recruitment Business’ at the Global Recruitment Awards (2013) and ‘Innovator of the Year’ at the APSCo Awards (2012).
Mark Barnicoat, Managing Director of Oasis HR comments:
“Having co-founded Oasis HR in 2004, it is truly humbling to reflect back on some of the successes we’ve experienced over the last 10 years. Seeing the team recognised for the amazing work they do daily is extremely rewarding. For me, the video really displays our wacky and unique style and portrays how we are changing people’s perception of the marketplace. Three of our core values are authenticity, innovation & wackiness, and ‘candidate is KING’. I believe this video really helps capture the Oasis personality, as well as portraying our commitment to our customers and our core areas of expertise.”
