  1. How long is your personal information retained?

Your personal information will be retained for as long as necessary to process your application and/or any of the purposes for which your personal information has been collected.

We may continue to hold information about you and your applications after any application process is complete, in case we need to consult it in the future if you make another application,, if a dispute arises about an application that you have made or in order to contact you if potentially suitable jobs become available in the future. We will delete or anonymise your information when we no longer need it, however, although we may continue to hold purely statistical information which does not identify you in particular.

If at any stage you wish to withdraw an application, want your information removed from the system or do not wish us to contact you in relation to future employment opportunities, please let us know by sending an email to recruitment@cliffordchance.com.

  1. Who has access to your personal information?

Oasis HR will only share your personal information with those who have a legitimate need to know.

Information in your candidate record (such as contact details) will only be available to Oasis HR employees who need it to contact you and/or assess your suitability for a role.

  1. Where is your personal information hosted?

Your personal information is stored in our Applicant Tracking System, Jobscience, which is hosted on secure servers operated by Salesforce.

  1. Do we transfer personal information outside of the European Economic Area (EEA)?

Yes – however only in the instance that you are applying for a role or have agreed to be submitted to a role that is based outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). The internet is a global environment and in order to process your application we may need to transfer personal information worldwide should the client we’re working with be based outside of the EEA.

  1. Do we use cookies?

Yes, only with your consent and when you have allowed us to use them by voluntarily providing your consent. Cookies are small files saved to your computer’s hard drive that track, save and store information about your interactions and usage with our website. This allows our website, through its server to provide you with a tailored experience.
